One area my students struggle the most, is motivation to read. These iPads will help in motivating learners who lack the love of reading by allowing them to use a device they hear about, and wish for, but they do not have the means to have one at home. Also, they struggle with listening and speaking. At this station, students will be able to listen to stories or practice listening to audio conversations to boost their listening and speaking confidence.
In my classroom, I focus on making learning fun and exciting, this would greatly help my purpose! The addition of technology would give my students a much needed boost of practice in the areas of listening and speaking.
