We live in a diverse community with advantages and disadvantages. Right choices and wrong choices can and will make a difference in a young persons life. Seeing those obstacles and opportunities will assist them in making better choice for them, their families, and the community they live in. We'll explore, write, construct, plan, visualize, the positives and negatives of the community and culture we live in. Kids learn more by seeing what is front of them. This camera with allow students to see their surroundings in a different medium. They will be able to take it around our community, our school, and places of their interests. Plus they will take it home to see a personal side of their lives at home, and present it to the class. They will put a power point presentation together on how we all are the same, but with different circumstances. This will create a since of acceptance for all students with regards to their individual ethnicity. I will have guidelines for students and parents on how this activity will take place. I am excited to have this opportunity for kids!
