Research shows that 鈥淗ands on, creative, and artistic activities help students to focus and retain knowledge.鈥 Our goal is to make our science lessons more hands on, allow for more time for student exploration, all while making the lessons more differentiated based on student need.
The materials would support student learning through hands on activities, exploration, and step by step experiments. Activities will be differentiated based on student need. The Science Instant Learning Centers and manipulatives will give the students the opportunity to learn and explore at their own pace during the lesson. By enhancing our Science curriculum with these new materials, the goal is that our students would become more inquisitive, curious, and willing to think outside of the box not only in the classroom, but also when they are involved in real world experiences.
