We are a Title One School that averages 100% free lunch. Due to budget constraints and socioeconomic conditions, we cannot afford to have many of our publications computer generated. Our daily writing assignments are written in their journals. Final drafts and writing being submitted are handwritten on regular lined paper. I would like to purchase resources such as a printer, ink, card stock, color paper, a cutting board, and a binding machine to properly display student writing. The materials will be used to create writing projects, research papers, class books, story books, and class newsletters. The computer generated writing will give my student’s work a polished look and make them feel like accomplished authors. The bound copies of their work can be shared with family, friends, and other members of the school for years to come.
