Scholastic Classroom Magazines provide real life material for students to read that they relate to in the different subject areas. The classroom set of magazines would be shared between 6 teachers for each of the subject areas: ELA, math, science, and social studies.
The teachers use the magazines as supplemental material for the curriculum. The magazine articles are interesting to the students and written on a reading level that is appropriate for middle school students. The magazines come with online quizzes and activities for the different articles in each issue. There are videos and online games that students can access.
