Small groups are largely considered one of the best ways to help struggling students to understand topics deeper and gain mastery. These activities are an added asset to my students because they can often be looking for other ways to solve problems in a unique and different way.
Students can move to math games or folders to move away from boring worksheets to challenging their neighbor and engaging their thinking in fun and different ways. These math activities include engaging and expanding activities to further thinking and allow students to be able to have fun learning. The pictures and pre-made problems that are set up in these folders and centers will cause students to be more excited to further their thinking.
