Children's literature is an important resource within the early childhood education environment. My students who are learning to work with these early learners have to tell stories in many different ways in order to capture the attention of the student listener.
By funding our project, students will have a variety of age-appropriate literature to share with the students during field experience as they learn the art of storytelling.
My students will use the new books to practice adding inflection to their voices as they read, create props, and most importantly, they will assist the early learners in understanding the important lessons that the story is teaching.
