The materials, I have chosen, will make the learning environment accessible and equitable for all of my students! These are basic materials that are essential to every special needs classroom.
I can use these items to work on IEP goals, teach social skills, communication skills and daily living skills. Being a special education teacher requires me to think outside of the box and supplement curriculum with lots of manipulatives, visuals, and hands on activities. The items on donors choose will allow me to create those materials and the furniture/storage units will allow them to be accessible to all students. Please help make my classroom usable, fun, and educational for my students!
