I am a first year kindergarten teacher working in a high need urban public school district. As you can see from the picture I posted of my classroom library, it is looking a bit bare. I need to fill this area with interesting and accessible books for my children to use when learning to read. All of my students have different abilities and interests (as most students do). Most of my students first language is not English, so it is important that I have access to various levels of books to meet all of their learning needs as beginning readers.
