The students in my classroom want to read for enjoyment, but they need a comfortable and colorful reading corner to sit. By having comfortable rugs and colorful pillows to sit on, they will be more interested in using their free time to read. I am working to provide reading material for them, now they just need a place to read. They have their desks in the classroom, but that is where the reading they do is simply for academic advancement. By having a comfortable and colorful area to read in, they will want to spend more time reading for enjoyment.
