The children in my classroom struggle with reading skills, particularly comprehension. I know that having a big pretty rug and comfortable cushions to sit on along with a variety of new picture books will motivate my students to read, read, read!
My students will love to have a large USA rug to relax on and read with a friend. Others can grab a cushion and choose a favorite spot in the room to read. Having books starring children just like my ethnically diverse students will enhance their desire to read. The children love reading nonfiction books. My students will have easy access to books on their reading levels in the classroom.
About my class
