Pretend/play is essential in the early childhood years. It encourages co-operation and problem solving skills. I want to encourage this by enhancing our pretend play centers. A doll/play house and barn will require the children to work together, create real-life scenarios, and solve problems both independently and together.
These items will make our pretend play centers more enjoyable for the students and improve their overall school lives. They will be able to develop co-operration and problem-solving skills while having a good time. These skills that are developing during the pretend play will enhance the student 's behavior during regular class time and transitions for they will have developed these skills while playing cooperatively with their peers and practicing their problem solving skills so they can transfer them to real life situations. I plan to assess the impact of these items on students' learning through observations, questioning, and anecdotal notes.
