My students need a class set of Hot Dots pens, vocabulary cards, phonics cards, reading comprehension cards and math skills cards including money, addition facts, subtraction facts, and telling time. The students will be able to simply press the pen on the dot above their answer choice on any of the reading or math cards and receive immediate feedback. If students have chosen a correct answer, they will hear cool, kid-friendly phrases. If students have selected an incorrect response, they will hear gentle redirection and a red light. Students will no longer have to use boring flashcards, but soon students will be able to use fun, interactive Hot Dots cards that will keep them engaged far longer. Donations to this project of Hot Dots Pens and Cards will have a huge, long-lasting effect on every one of my students. The cards cover many areas of reading and math. This will give all of my students the chance to practice whichever skill they personally need to practice. This will benefit my high students who need to be challenged as well as my low students who need remediation.
