This swing and stand will allow my students a place in the classroom to have a sensory break or a calm down spot. The swing will wrap around them with the pressure it allows them to feel secure. Students with autism can feel very overwhelmed by their surroundings and this allows them an escape in a safe space to calm themselves. The students often need more stimulation during the day and the swing will allow them to have access within the classroom in a safe space. My students often work in 15 to 20 minutes intervals and then need a break and the swing will allow for a great place to take that break.
