I teach K-4th grade art in Arkansas. Like all kids, my students love to draw. I like to provide a variety of art experiences for my students: painting, drawing, cutting and gluing, as well as experience with 3D art. My elementary school is one of three elementary schools in our town, and our students are from moderate to low income families. We are also a very loving school. Overall our faculty and staff go over and above what is required to take care of our students each day. Art, along with music and P.E., is the highlight of our students' week. I want my students to realize that there are so many reasons to create art. They love to come to the art room and create!
