I teach a class of twenty energetic pre-k students who live in a low socioeconomic area. My goal is to provide them with the necessary hands-on tools to keep their minds engaged, learning, and having fun. My students need many supplies that are geared towards tactile sensories. Having the necessary tools for each activity enables me to teach to the best of my ability. We learn through centers such as phonemic awareness, library, painting, writing, home, etc. These centers require hands-on literary elements, books, art supplies, writing supplies, and anything to fuel their imagination! It is exciting watching their little brains at work and seeing the achievements made each and every day! I want my classroom to be a warm, welcoming environment in which my students feel happy, safe, and ready to learn each day! Any donations you are able to make toward my classroom are greatly appreciated by myself and my students!
