Research shows that primary students are kinesthetic learners. They learn best by exploring and manipulating objects with their hands. We know that hands-on learning is critical. It is my goal to put tools in their hands that will spark their curiosity, challenge their skills, and grow their understanding of the world. My goal is to give students a strong foundation in all developmental areas by providing them with opportunities to interact with new materials, explore their environment, and experiment with manipulatives.
Many of my students lack the materials at home to engage their minds, so what we do at school becomes incredibly important. I want to provide my students with the best materials that will excite and engage them.
