I am wanting to add a potter's wheel to our classroom so that the students can expand their knowledge in art. All that has been taught to them is painting and drawing with different mediums. "why can't we use that wheel machine that you see people use in movies". I was able to use a potters wheel and found it to be therapeutic. I would like for my students to have the same experience considering the daily issues they deal with. If I am able to bring this to our class not only will it be a stress reliever but will also get them excited to see what else they can learn.
