Flexible Seating For All Students!
My students need flexible seating options so that they can learn in the environment that works best for them.
This year I am giving my students the option to have more movement in the classroom, rather than constantly being stuck at their desks.
To help facilitate this I am hoping to be able to bring in some furniture directly designed for classroom flexibly seating.
I am asking for a few 15" tall glow stool in blue. The convex base allows for movement in all directions while seated, which means even restless students can still move around without disrupting the rest of the class. The floor cushions will allow students to sit comfortably on the floor while learning and working. The clipboards will give students a hard surface to work on while sitting in their flexible seating if they are not at a table.
Students learn better when they are comfortable. Flexible seating allows students to choose an area of the classroom where they are most comfortable. As students learn to take responsibility of their seating choices, they realize the importance of choice in learning.
When students are comfortable, they are more motivated to learn.
Being uncomfortable while trying to absorb and apply knowledge makes for a very long school day. Being comfortable sets students up for success. They are able to focus less on setting, and more on learning.
This school year I have put many flexible seating options in place, however, the products I have added to this project will greatly enhance the options the students already have.
Having flexible seating options in our classroom will ensure a more motivated, engaged classroom.
