As a teacher at a Title I school, my students are faced with many challenges outside of the classroom. Recently, our community was terrorized by a major flood. Many of these students lost their homes as well as everything they had. Some of these students are living in campers and homes that have been gutted. With all of the tragedy many of my students have endured, I want to be able to provide them with a learning experience that is both fun and engaging. If I can do this, their learning experience will be successful.
