The Adopt a Pet Reading Program will encourage and inspire students to read at home and in school. The stuffed animal is used to help engage the student in practicing reading at home. Each student will adopt a stuffed puppy or kitten to take home in a pet carrier to read to each night! Every month the child will be able to complete a reading challenge to earn accessories for their pet. Some of the accessories include pet collars, pencils, erasers, pet toys and stickers. These accessories help to keep the students excited about reading throughout the year. Thank you for considering donating to our Adopt a Pet Reading Program!
