Writer's Workshop is a program that teaches children to become good writers. Throughout the year we focus on 3 areas of writing; narrative, opinion and information. We need books to inspire us, a camera for filming our movie, book and restaurant reviews, and a bookbinder to publish our information books. And we need paper for writing! I am asking for books that will teach us about narratives stories and opinion writing. The children will use the paper for writing their rough drafts. The bookbinder will be used to bind the informational books that they make. The video camera will be used for filming the movie, book and restaurant reviews that they will be writing for opinion writing. It will be a very exciting year for writing!
