I am asking for one Read Along Listening Center, informational and literary text read alongs, 3 Fire Kids Edition tablets, comprehension skills practice cards, and three comfy pillows for our classrooms reading area. The use of this technology and additional resources would greatly peak the interest of my students and will involve those that are visual and kinesthetic in nature as well during center time. The Fire Kids Edition tablets would allow more students to access individualized activities specific to their literacy and mathematics areas of concern. The listening center and read along stories would allow my students to become more confident in their reading, decoding, and comprehension abilities. These materials would allow them to explore and further develop various academic skills, specifically within the focus of reading and mathematics interventions during center rotations.
