My students have special needs. They need an area in the classroom where they can go to feel safe and be able to use different sensory objects. When the students are provided with different sensory objects they are calmed down and relaxed. There will be a sensory area in the classroom where the students can go each day. That area will highly benefit the special needs of my students. Having the right kind of sensory toys for autism education is very important to the development of of the children in the classroom. Millions of children are affected by some kind of special need or disability that affects their ability to learn in a conventional way. Because of that, more and more schools are incorporated toys for special needs students.
Sensory toys for special needs students help them to work on things like hand-to-eye co-ordination, fine and gross motor skills and social interaction.
