These Chromebooks will help my students learn to use technology.
I have some students with dysgraphia, and being able to type their assignments in class would help them with their disability. I would also like to go to a paperless classroom using google classroom. Chromebooks would allow them to do their vocabulary assignments, web quests, research papers, simulations, etc. electronically. This would save my school a lot of money in needless copies.
As 7th graders, they really aren't the best at keeping track of where their assignments are, so being web based they would never lose an assignment. It will also facilitate collaboration and discussion using Google Docs. Using technology in the classroom keeps a 7th graders attention and keeps them on task.
