My class has the chance each day, during learning centers, to engage in a dramatic play center. With the requested kitchen set and the puppet show, students can act out different scenarios, problem solve, and dream. "Play is the highest form of research" ~Albert Einstien. Imaginative and creative play is key to a well rounded student. Through play, children can develop social and cognitive skills, mature emotionally, and gain the self-confidence required to engage in new experiences and environments. With these much needed materials, my class will have the opportunity to utilize and grow the creativity they already have inside them. In our classroom we are building future artists, writers, engineers, scientists, judges, teachers, entrepreneurs, and so much more!
