The cameras requested are for the yearbook club. Currently, we have no cameras to take pictures for the yearbook. We usually have multiple events needing pictures going on a the same time. Not only will students be learning how to take quality photographs, but they will also be developing lifelong interpersonal skills, by interviewing coaches, players, advisers, about the club, sport, or activity they are photographing.
Giving low-income students access to new technology is an investment in their future. Yearbook students learn to have a sense of pride in the outcome of their product. They also discover what it is to be apart of something, to have deadlines, and to work together to accomplish something amazing for the school. They develop life-long skills that will help them be a great part of our community.
