My goal everyday is to make American history as interesting and relatable to my students as I possibly can. I try to find as many clips as I can that relate to our daily topics of study. The issue is that my school has limited technology and I share our school's multimedia equipment with seventeen other teachers. Because of this, I am unable to use technology on a daily basis with my students. If this project is funded, I will be able to show my students video clips/movies/documentaries that directly tie in to the topics we study. I know for a fact that seeing these clips help my students learn due to their responses on assessments and assignments, as well as their answers to questions I pose them. I will also be able to use the TV to enlarge class notes and PowerPoint presentations.
