From 2013 - 2016, our all-boys school did not have a Visual Arts program. After lots of hard work over the course of 3 years, we now have a thriving QUARTER OF THE SCHOOL enrolled in Visual Arts!
Title I schools typically have 50% of students in poverty... at our school a whopping 90% LIVE BELOW THE POVERTY LINE.
Title I schools also typically do not have enough money to supply the materials for the Art Education these SPIRITED, TALENTED, HARDWORKING Young Men deserve!
Our lesson plan this year includes Mathematical interdisciplinary learning, which means they will be incorporating math concepts into their artwork (measuring, gridding, plotting points, etc). We need quality rulers so these students can create their best work!
We need your help! In order to supply the most quality education in drawing, painting, sculpting, design, and innovation, we are in desperate need of rulers, watercolor paper, colored pencils and more.
Be a hero for these CREATIVE YOUNG MEN!
