I have been a Speech Therapist at a middle school in Torrance for 10 years (17 total for all ages). My students have moderate to significant learning difficulties and communication disorders due to Autism, Downs Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, Intellectual Disabilty and a variety of other diagnoses. My students are energetic, positive, eager to learn, and a joy to serve. I collaborate closely with other SLPs, Teachers, Paraeducators, Counselors, PTs, OTs and Behavioral Therapists. I always try to make therapy fun and engaging and tailor my therapy to meet each student's unique learning style. I also communicate openly and often with parents/teaching staff to ensure my students make progress on their goals.
