My classroom needs more variety of complex texts. This project will reach 23 students! I have picked books that will help reinforce concepts in math and science to deepen students understanding. In addition, I want students to have access to great literature and read more during small group instruction through literature circles. Students will be required to code their thinking to show their understanding. I also want to focus more on teaching students social skills through a read aloud during morning meetings. We will focus on one book per week and analyze each book, discussing what it looks like and sounds like at school.

About my class
