The main focus of the project is to enlighten my students' minds of the different job aspects and organizations that help to build a community.
The poster boards will be the main material used in this project because it will be used to create the items in the community. The glue and masking tape will help to hold the items together. Other items, like trees and popsicle sticks, are needed for the decorations to bring life to the project.
The students will use the composition books to record researched information. They will use the headphones on the computer as they complete their research, which will help them focus better. The copier will be used to print reports, and these reports will be placed with other items in the folder.
All the materials will come together to build this community, which will be a teaching tool to open my students' minds and awareness of the different types of businesses in a community. This, in turn, will give them that initial taste of the transition from students to leaders in a community of various businesses.
