The TI-Nspire CX CAS II handheld and software incorporates a Computer Algebra System (CAS) as a tool for students to explore, evaluate, and simplify expressions, numeric problems, and variables in symbolic form. Engaging students in learning mathematical concepts is essential to their success and to their love of mathematics going forward. By having enough calculators for each student, I will be able to provide a more rich learning experience for students. The Nspire CX CAS II allows for lessons to be presented in an interactive format allowing for investigation and questioning as well as traditional functions you would expect in a graphing calculator.
