My SLIFE (Students with Limited or Interrupted Formal Education) team and I would like to create language domain stations for all of our content areas in which students practice with their subjects, (English, Math, Science and Spanish Native Literacy) while at the same time learning more about speaking and listening.
Even though our students are ages 14-21, most have not had very much practice with letter-sound recognition. They need to be able to listen to others and their own voice to help them make these basic skills concrete.
Students will use the requested headphones to listen to their own and others' recordings, create fun audio projects, and find the confidence to practice speaking in and out of school.
