I do not have materials to teach social studies to my students; my school does not have the money to supplies the students with social studies books and materials. I feel this will greatly improve my students lives by bringing social studies into my classroom. This grant will give them access to important information and current events in our world. Students really enjoy reading their own magazines and I am looking forward to seeing the excitement in their eyes when they flip through the Time magazine to see all the pictures and important articles for them to read. This is a way to get them excited about reading.
