I plan to utilize these stools in our Science area. The children can set and use science materials, such as magnifiers and nature materials. The preschoolers will be able to attend for longer periods of time, using these stools. In addition, they are easily moved by the student to allow for those that struggle with sitting still. The stools increase balance skills in young bodies. Some children attempt to "rock" in the more standard chairs, and that is not a safe choice. This will allow me to accommodate their needs to be active while still sitting still to attend to the task.
