In our classroom, we have a diverse group of 62 students from 6th, 7th, and 8th grades. We’re a close-knit group from a small, rural community, and each student brings something unique to the table. While some of my students are avid readers who dive into books with passion, others prefer hands-on activities or exploring other interests. A number of my students love to express themselves through writing—whether it’s crafting imaginative stories or building strong arguments in informational and persuasive essays.
Creativity is at the heart of our class, with many students using art and collaborative projects to bring their ideas to life. Our classroom is a space where students work together, support each other, and celebrate the different ways we all learn. This mix of interests, talents, and personalities creates a dynamic environment where every day is an opportunity to grow and explore.
