These are basic school supplies that most of my students struggle to buy each year. I want to take a stressor off my students so they can focus on learning and being the best they can be. The ink and paper will be used to print eye catching handouts, newsletters, etc. to help students and parents be involved in the class. Of course school supplies are no good if we can't sharpen them and right now my students are having to borrow hand sharpeners from friends so they can get through the day. Using these supplies will help them create worlds in writing and discover more about their world in Social Studies and share interesting quotes from their reading.
