This is a great opportunity to teach kids about archery, a sport they wouldn't have the opportunity to participate in otherwise. Our students only see bows and arrows in the movies. They have never seen archery equipment before, let alone used any. The sport of archery teaches many important life skills, like discipline, concentration, focus, perseverance, sportsmanship, emotional control and comradery. Our archery team has been growing and improving every year. With this new equipment, we will be able to run practices more efficiently. This will allow our kids more time practicing, instead of waiting for their turn. It will also allow us to take our entire team to the state tournament, instead of being limited by the number of bows we have.
