My students will be playing The Game of Life to reinforce concepts tied to family finance such as career development, housing, insurance, investing, spending plans, values, needs, wants, and goals. This project would help improve students' understanding in family finance to better prepare them for life as an adult. Throughout the game, students may experience life changes in career choice, family size, and types of expenses. This will directly impact their income and expenses. Students will get a feel for how these life events can impact their finances. Students will then reflect upon the experience to truly understand the importance of family financial literacy.
