Headphones and calculators would help my students to be able to focus and stay on task when working on the laptops or I Pads. They will also help students to tune out noises as they complete written assignments. The calculators will enable my students to move forward in math to be able to complete calculations that they cannot do on their own. My students want to be able to complete math assignments on their grade level. Using the items that I have requested will help them move forward at a faster pace and be more successful. Because they are ability levels are below those of their grade level peers, they sometimes feel inferior. I want them to know that they are smart and can succeed if they work hard.

About my class
