One of the units of study in the 1st grade curriculum is magnets. Students are exposed to various types of magnets, and the numerous uses for magnets during this study. One of the most critical aspects of this study is the hands on experience using magnets.
The students ability to manipulate and see how the use of magnets vary is important to their understanding how magnets work. These magnets will allow the students to work in small groups, to individually use the magnets, and understand how they can be used. Students learn best when they can have a hand on experience.
