Due to Hurricane Matthew, my students and myself have lost our school and all of our materials. In our class we used flexible seating. Using flexible seating, will give the students a chance to relax and feel comfortable, while they are completing their work. The seating helps the students focus, and stay engage while they are working individually or working in small groups. Giving students a choice in how they learn and where they sit, will increase students grades, they are more happier and engaged, and they will participate more and be willing to have a conversation more with their peers and teacher. Meeting the individual needs of student will impact their vision and goals for their own education. Which will make their experience in school more meaningful to them.
