Using technology along side learning is an important element. The students in my class have access to classroom iPads, which they use freely, navigating apps and web pages under teacher direction.
Durable stylus pens will sharpen written tasks, more so than using a finger touch. The table mounts will offer stable positioning of iPads. Mounts will safely allow little bodies the ability to capture photos of individual spelling sorts as well as any other traditional learning task. Curious and social conversations occur throughout our learning. The retro pop phone handsets plug into the headphone jack and will allow recording of stories or reflection of learning while minimizing the background noise that interferes currently. Who doesn't want to record using an old phone handset?
In addition to the hardware for technology use, the students require fabric seatsacks that offer a safe place for these delicate pieces. Students will have them at their access in moments, not wasting precious instructional time going to different areas of the room to gather needed materials. Also, students will not have to store pieces in their desk that will have folders, pencil boxes, etc.
