Our students are in need of materials to enhance and showcase their creativity. All of our students in grades K-5 are to write, illustrate and bind a self-made book. This is a county-wide competition which is a rapid turn-around. In order for our students to participate, their projects must be completed by December 13, 2016. Our students will use the materials to write, create, edit, draw, publish and construct a book they can be proud of. These activities will be utilized during the Literacy, Writing and Learning Center times throughout the day as we read and write learning together. Focus and dedication will be given during the writing schedule and during an evening hosted event on December 6th. Your generous donation will to our project will improve 2nd through 5th reading and engagement in writing to build the strong literacy students. This will definitely enhance and change our students' lives for the better. Especially, to be considered for a individualized talent competition. They will love school and feel the success; not to mention have a forever archive of their book---having fun while learning "writing"!
