Welcome to my Donor's Choose page! I am a special education teacher at Pickard Elementary in Chicago. I work with the diverse learners (and general ed students as well) in 6th, 7th, and 8th grade in language arts.
I am continually delighted and amazed at the insights and challenges that my students offer me, and I learn so much from them. One of the main things I've realized is how we all learn differently, and I'm constantly striving to better understand how to identify and respond to the many, many different learning styles among the students I'm privileged enough to teach.
I love literature, the theater, current events, and movies, and I'm always trying to weave these passions into my teaching to make it more engaging for my kids.
Thanks for reading this. I really appreciate your support!
