This portable speaker will not only make fitness testing possible but it will make workouts so much more fun! We fitness test our students on what is called the fitnessgram. At any one time we could be testing up to 120 students. In the fitnessgram test we have several sub tests that require a loud enough speaker to be heard for directions. Currently we have a small boombox that can barely be heard when you are the only person in the room let alone when you have 120 students. We need a high quality speaker to be able to help our students clearly hear the directions that are given during the fitness test. Our students strive to be the best that they can be. It is difficult and frustrating for our students to make a mistake during a fitness test because they couldn't hear the instructions.
The theme for our school this year is #AllIn and we are not only asking students but teachers as well to be #AllIn. As a teacher for these students I want to be #AllIn and to be able to give them the best because that is what they deserve. One thing that students love is music. Music inspires students to not only work harder but also improves their overall demeanor. Our students would love to have a portable speaker so that they can listen to music when they are working on their basketball skills or while they are working out. With this speaker I believe our students will continue to be #AllIn and will go above and beyond what they believe they are capable of.
