I love teaching 1st grade! My classroom is located in an urban neighborhood. We have a very diverse population. Many students in my class (80%) are (ESOL) English for Speakers of Other Languages. Many parents are from other countries and need extra support. Most students receive free and reduced lunch. They are a very intelligent and energetic group of students who love to learn.
