For my students science is exciting! Math is a blast! and in ELA they take a trip with their favorite book; But there is always one subject that brings their energy levels down, social studies. In grade 3 we learn about different countries, and we also make time for current events. However, many of my students just don't get excited for social studies class. This project will help my scholars become more invested in worldly matters. I can already picture their excitement as they open their weekly magazines. The interactive smartboard features will keep them engaged and focused. This time for kids subscription will heighten their love for social studies. In turn preparing them for the world at large.
