I am striving to meet the personal needs of each and every one of my students. Our nation's school model is old and out of date. The classroom where a student takes notes and does practice problems seems torturous to today's student who is used to high use of technology in every part of their life.
I plan to utilize iPads to differentiate instruction in order to meet the individual needs of every student. Students who are weak in foundation skills will be directed to an iPad to remediate and work on the skills before they can move into the material that is new. Students who are strong in their skills and are ready to move on will be able to accelerate their learning and dive deeper into the material beyond what I'm able to deliver to the whole class.
